Orion pirates have used the crisis at the Deneva colony as an opportunity to gather slaves. They have not only transported several of the Denevans aboard their fighter ships, but they have also kidnapped Commodore Moose and others among the Challenger crew. Whether or not the crew's attempts to deflect the asteroid from its collision course were successful remains to be determined with certainty, but these kidnappings must take priority. The shuttle pods containing the evacuation teams have returned and Challenger is now in pursuit of the Orion fleet.
