I can't believe i'm the first to make a post about this....but I think its pretty cool. I like prometheus and think this should turn out pretty cool! And i like the bit about "treaty of versailles, clever. What are all the rest of your thoughts?

Of course not. :P

Heh, Prometheus Class, eh? Not bad. from what I've seen so far. Gotta see some more offical information before I can give it anymore opinion.

Edit: Although the concept of a "Future sim" did take me by surprise I must say. Now I think STSF has basically everything now, eh?

Still have the movie era or the marines to go, though I noticed that the second in command was a colonel so is this a marine detachment we see?

Everything except for a post TOS/Pre TNG sim but eh... It could happen :D

Although I dislike the ship design, I find the concept very interesting. I think I might have to sign up as one of the loyal members of the Agincourt :P

Pretty Nifty idea.

A treaty signed btw Klingons, Romulans and I assume Starfleet - what a start to the adventure.

Wishing all the best to the USS Agincourt.

Yeah, true.. but I meant in the sense of past, present and future in Trek perspective. :P I'm not sure if I'd join since I serve on 5 ships, but.. I wish only the best for it, and it does look like it could be a Marine ship, eh? As I said in the ship classes thread, the Prometheus is one of my favourite classes.

Cool . . .

It sounds like fun . . . it's earlier than Challenger, which is also on a school night, so technically I might be able to join. Perhaps I'll just have Tovan clone me. :P

I'm not familiar with the historical references except for Versailles, but whenever I see this ship's name I think "Again-in-court" :P

A little background...

The USS Agincourt sim was named after the 1415 Battle of Agincourt during the Hundred Years War between the English (and Welsh) and the French. The English, out-manned and out-gunned (though gun powder wasn't used yet) scored a major victory versus the mighty French calvalry. Superior tactics and the use of the Welsh longbow archers helped secure this victory. This battle is seen as the apex of the longbow in warfare.

Yeah man. Agincourt kinda annoys all my French friends. Pure strategy.

I don't know the current trek timeline, seeing as how we jumped back a couple of hundred years with Ent.

So, what's the current year that all of our present day sims (Arc, Manticore, Reaent, Sky Harbor, etc) are using?

Seeing as how this will probably be the sim I come out of retirement for, (yes, this would be counted as my crappy "Coming out of retirement speech") I need to know, since I plan on linking this new character to an old one.

Hmmmmmmm I think that all the present day sims are all set now. By the obvious statement I actually mean that all the sims are taking place at this point the movies and series have dropped off.

I think so anyway.

Prometheus is nice, perhaps one of my favorites.

I look forward to this. If ever I do graduate, this is my ship of choice :D
