I got roses and Pit Passes to two races!! Took a pass on going to dinner, cause I was sick as dog, and had Acadmey and Republic to do anyway.

Yea...pit passes.... they can be taught...!! LOL

Card, $5.

Flowers and balloons, $44.

Dinner, $350.

Getting sick from overpriced tiny-portioned food, Priceless.

Ok, I didn't do anything for Valentine's Day (overall, I never really liked it), but here goes my story of what one of my best friends did Monday.

Two of my best friends went out about 4:30pm to Wal-Mart, and 5 other stores (and finally a restaurant) in search of a lot of white bags. They also picked up 100 candles from Wal-Mart.

A few hours later, they had taken over the 11th hole of the local golf course (which lies on a hillside), and wrote "I {heart} you" in gigantic letters with the white bags, and use the 100 candles to light up the hillside.

It was one of the most remarkable love stories I'd heard in a long time. The golf course never knew they were there. :P

Hee hee hee, I sent roses to my girl and then dressed up in very fruity man-thong and danced in front of her house.

I dunno, valentine's day was invented by corporations, which are businesses. So in essence it's like your local grocery store manager coming up to you and screaming "TODAY IS THE DAY FOR LOVE! BUY SOMETHING LOVEY-DOVEY! ...or I will kill you"

I'm usually cheap but my girl is very special so I did a lot for her, like surprised her was flowers and balloons at her desk at Global History (loves Ms. Skinner forever for helping me do that). Even though we didn't have our Valentines on Valentines day because she had worked we got together on thursday and watched a movie. I also played her Blue October's calling you (which is our song) and an other song I wrote.

I actually didn't do anything on Monday. I had my fun over the weekend for Valentines Day. Dinner and a movie, twas fun, even though worked poped up a few times, but I lived.

And scary enough... this was the first time I voluntarily did anything for Valentines Day. :P

I must be coming ill with something...

Yeah, pretty much...its kinda insulting to us who do romantic things randomly for no reason, not just because corporate America tells you to.

I baked cookies! (And ate at least half of them).

I like all holidays that offer an excuse to eat well.

(I even shared the cookies with the guys installing my air conditioning - they kept showing up in that part of the house for no good reason just as the cookies started coming out of the oven...)
