Voyager Yacht

I stumbled upon a sight talking about captains yachts (did picard ever use his galaxy yacht?) and the person made the claim that intrepid class had its own little winged underbelly ship. Anyone have evidence to support this, or even hear of it before. Or did someone just look at the picture and say, hey it looks like a yacht?

i found some other pics of the shuttle and stuff, that is the looming question, why DIDN'T they use it?

Yeah it's the aeroshuttle.......... used for science.

They might have used it but just never shown it on Voyager.

Yeah, that's the aeroshuttle for Voyager. A theory as to why it wasn't used is that the Voyager left on the Badlands mission before the shuttle was installed and so there was just filler section of hull plating in it's place.

Of course, there is supposedly a Captain's yacht on the Galaxy-class starship, yet we have never seen it.

I heard the 'official' reason they didnt use it was that it was damaged during the trip to the Delta. I mean if it wasnt installed wouldnt there be a hole there?

That idea was tossed out because they never said anything like "too bad we don't have the aeroshuttle. If it wasn't installed there, they would have a "space-filler" type piece of hull plating, like people put on their computers where they have no disk drive. thats apparently the widely accepted phenomenon.
