0501.25: In our efforts to not pollute the Hood’s timeline, we try the least-contact way of getting control of the movement of the ship – by hacking remotely into her computer core. Unfortunately, they block our first attempt. Our next try will be to mask our program into background noise.

 

0501.18: With the temporal unit sabotage fixed, we calculate the variables to recreate the temporal joint journey home with the Hood and initiate the event. Unfortunately… we suck both ourselves and the Hood farther away – another three thousand light years. We surmise that it was due to the incorrect orientation of the Hood: Both direction and speed.

 

0501.10: Engineering finishes repairs on the sabotaged temporal drive unit. Meanwhile, the Hood is still unaware of our presence and seems to be patrolling the area.

 

0501.04: We approach the vessel and identify it as the USS Hood of 2269. They are leaking plasma, but seem to be getting it under control. They hail us, but we do not answer and remain under cloak. We look up information on this ship. Meanwhile, Engineering and Security determine that Qunjalth is our most likely saboteur. Engineering works on repairing the device while Science continues to go over our travel scans and find out why both ships are here. Medical annoys Bch with requests for a physical.
