Can I change my screen name? Because I think changing it to Cadet Laura Scotts would be a lot more helpful to me than EMsfriend.

I'd recommend that you don't include a rank such as "Cadet" in your name, because you won't be a cadet forever. One day you'll grow up and be sent off into Ensign-limbo. (Dramatic music)

You might want to consider keeping your name until after you graduate from the Academy. We (the GMs) know you by your EMS name. :P

Nope. I never put any of my ranks in any of my characters when registering on the board. It adds excess usernames that aren't needed, and everyone already knows who you are. :P

 

Put ranks, etc., in your signature, and just live with your name not containing a rank. That is the best way; that's what the signature is for.

 

I use this screen name (HyperDrive) for everything except posting logs for other characters. I even use this one to post logs for my Aegis character.

i dont have a nickname that is my charactors. im koolaidman or some variation on almost every place i go it help alot with memory

When i am in a sim its Ensign_SemaJ (previously Cadet_SemaJ) but on the board I use his real name, Sam_SemaJ. you can log into the chatroom with any name, the only time the password is actually good is if you use you're board name. So unless you are a gm and don't wanna be imitated, Have Webmaster man change you're board name to Crazy_Laura or whatever it is you want, then just log into the chatroom as Cadet_Scotts (soon to be Ensign_Scotts)....there's my advice. :P
