Shadowing in time

Security officers log, Stardate 0501.19:

 

I don't like this situation at all. This kitty was not meant to be a temporal traveler. The device was activated. But, promply shorted out again and we slipped a small bit further back in time. We're shadowing the U.S.S. Hood under cloak. The ship is back under it's own power now. I don't know what Bch has planned, but I've heard she want's to take the Hood back with us, something about a Huff. I know the captain of the Hood's name is Huff, an ancestor of Admiral Huff if I'm not mistaken. Angie was assisting me with the investigation when Lt. Random called down and ordered her to the bridge. I accompanied her. When we arrived, I went to the security station and started my monitors. I overheard an exchange between Angie and Random. Seem's Lt. Random has been watching the security monitors and has seen a few quick kisses between us. I mean, I understand Starfleet protocal when it comes to onboard romances. But, Angie and I are married and sharing quarters. Random came down hard on Angie for it. It upset Angie and flustered her. I need to talk to Lt Random about Angie's frail hold on her humanity. I've been working on helping her through these new aspects of her desimmilation. I don't want harsh words about a couple of little kisses to make her regress to the emotionless former drone I met when we started academy. I told Angie later that we'd save the romance for our quarters. And, that while we're on duty we act accordingly. We sit on the bridge watching the ancient starship rumble along while Bch and Kwalus plan our next move. More later.
