Security officers log, Stardate 0501.11:

 

Van Roy, Angie, and the engineering team readied the temporal device for activation. I sat in security doing reports and having a cup of coffee when the device was activated. I felt the familiar lightheadedness as the Qob slipped through yet another time displacement. I left security and headed to the Meh to find out we had slipped back in time 175 years. I was ordered down to engineering to investigate why the temporal devices time circuts had activated. I went to engineering to find that the device had short circuted and threw us back in time. Van Roy found a cut wire leading to the flux capacitor, that would have alowed it to be activated. I scanned the device and found several traces of DNA. I took those to security and ran them through the computer. Other than the dna of our engineers and the Klingon engineers back on Qo'nos, I found DNA matching Qu'njalth. It made sense to me, he had wanted Bch and Messner, and their children out of the picture perminently. I called up to the MeH and informed BcH of my findings. I then started a shipwide patrol scanning for any other sabotage. I finished and went back to the Meh and informed Rawl Kwalus of my findings. She informed me that if there was anymore sabotage, I would be held resposible. I gulped and told her there would be no more. I left the Meh with horrible images of Klingon dicipline dancing through my head. I went back to security, put together a team and searched the ship from stem to stern, up and down with powerful scanners. I saw parts of this ship I don't think have been seen since it's construction. Finding the ship clear, I reported back to Kwalus. She ordered Angie and myself to investigate further into Qu'njalth's involvment into the attack. Angie and I went to security to pour over DNA samples and monitor data from engineering.The Qob followed the source of the Federation signal and found a constitution class ship, the U.S.S. Hood. It is damaged and leaking plasma. Bch, want's us to keep our distance under cloak for now. I can understand, we don't want to interupt the time line. And, of course at the time of the Hood, the Federation was at war with the Klingon empire. More later.
