NOT NEW as in NEW. IT's The New Orleans, that is its name or class.

For me it's the TOS Constitution and TOS Klingon/Romulan bird of prey. I love the long waspy connections.

I think my favorite class would have to be the refited consitution class. It was just so sleek, and new looking for it's time.

Kinda like a space yacht.

Oh and the racing stripes, mag nacelles, hydraulic sensor pumps and b*tching sound system helps, too!

I think I found something cool enough to replace my Sith code sig...

::Honestly never thought A-9 was capable of something like that::

my all time favorite classification of ships are always small agile fighters, particularly this peregrine class used in much of DS9 ;)

You mean the one that gets blown up about 5 seconds into a battle ;)

Well, some of us (probably just me) want to blow up eventually.

Yeah, probably just you...

Too bad they made it so tiny and weak ;)

Galaxy....Can't go wrong with flying in the comfort of the living room with the big screen viewer in front of you. You should see the surround sound system I'm having Seiben and Jax put in for us next month!

I like most classes of starships, if not all. I am very fond of the Prometheus and Akira class starships.

The class I do not like is the Enterprise-J seen on Enterprise. It looks doofy.

Blu,

Imagine if the orginal ideas for the Enterprise-D's bridge were implemented. A two Deck bridge? Galaxy's are the true Cadillacs of Starfleet no doubt.

For my favorite, I unfortuantely don't have an idea what a bridge of an Akira Class starship looks like...we never saw one. I can only presume the Tactical station on that vessel must be rather large. All those torpedo launchers and a immense Fighter bay for the craft Tovan pictured earlier in this thread.

Unlike your Galaxy Class vessel, A second bridge on the Akira is not included. Saucer section option not included as well.

I like blowing up. Things.

Then get that new stupid game that advertises:

"Blow things up, blow them up some more!"

You know.....um,....Merchants, Mercenties.....Mercenaries, that's it!

I've got to agree with you there. When TNG started, it was a very cool-looking ship. Nowadays, it's near the bottom of the coolness list.

Actually I always thought the Galaxy class was ugly.

I mean just look at it! It looks like a giant head with a dwarf body! Doesn't look like a fighting ship at all!

Of course my problem with Federation ship classes in general is there are so many of them. I mean heck, if you want Ten Forward to use crushed ice instead of ice cubes just build a new ship class. Never mind that each class would require specialized crews, maintenance facilities, shipyards, software, etc.

That's why I like the Klingon ships. They seem to be able to do with 4 or 5 ship classes what takes the Federation about a hundred, and the darn things last forever.

D'deridex by far!!

It's bigger than all your puny ships. We've got really cool green running lights, our own little Quantum Singularity to run things on....and of course...

the cloaking device!!

The Scimitar???? Ick....

The N'Orexen (the Valdore) isn't to bad, but it's smaller and not nearly as powerful as the D'deridex...that and it looks like a plucked chicken.
