I was just recently posted to my new home **cough** USS Hood - Constitution Class Rocks !!**cough** ^_^

I eventually would like to join a second sim - How long typically is the wait \should I wait to apply for a second advanced sim?

^_^ I'm the first to say anything about this to him... so what I say is TRUTH?!

Well here's how it is kid.

They have this table. They get around it. They go...

GM1> How long has he been at his current post?

GM2> ::in an american accent:: Only three days.

GM1> You mean weeks.

GM2> Of course.

GM1> And how does he do there?

GM3> ::in a british accent:: Splendid.

GM1> Good... good... okay then he can have another post... IN A COUPLE OF MONTHS MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHA... *cough*...

GM3> ::in a british accent:: Rawght.

GM2> ::in an american accent:: So what about this appy? This person has been on it's current ship for three months now.

GM1> ::thwaps GM2 for using the word appy:: I'm that person's GM and they need more time on my ship before they add others... set it aside...

...

Yes, I need more sleep and less Mountain Dew... BUT I SWEAR that is exactly what happens at the round table of the GM's...

::looks for a potted plant so she can hide behind it from A9, FredM, and others::

Actually, I've been to some of those round table discussions. They mostly just talk about Babylon 5 and complain that the Cadets and Ensigns and new Lieutenants are taking themselves too seriously. ^_^

From the Rules page:

Policy Regarding Multiple Sims (Additional Duties)

A player who has just graduated from the STSF Academy may be posted to only one sim. If, after one month of sim play, a player wishes additional duties (a desire to play on more than one sim concurrently), STSF Personnel will consult with the player's current GM command team prior to making any additional assignments. Depending on the results of this consultation, additional duties may be refused.

Hey there,

Yes, pretty much what A9 posted is the official response. ;)

::moves back into the private room and closes the door, slamming his fist on the desk:: We have a spy in our midst!

I have no idea of Jones' sex ( M or F) in real life ;) ,

but on the Hood, Jones is a Female!

I know this because in the sim I kept refering to Jones as "Him",

and was quickly informed that Jones was a female! ;)

Ummm... Jones, do you have a cold?

Need a hypo?

*cough* ;)

That's one way to find out I guess.

Thanks for the info everyone. **recalls the flying mosquito spy bugs from the GM offices**

And Dr. James **waves Hi** brings up a good point, considering my call sign "Kansas Jones" sounds...well...male. ;)

I am indeed of the female persuasion in RL, and on the Hood I play a female Caitian.

;)

Spy? Uh, Fred, for the record I was *invited* to those meetings. You yourself picked me up at the airport, remember?

Besides, if I *really* wanted to embarrass the GMs I could talk about the time everyone XXXXXXXXXXXX and XXXXXXXX Moose XXXXXXX, and then you XXXXXXXXX, XXXXXX with the wrong end, XXXXXXXXXXXXX a XXXXXXXXXXX and the free massages.

Hmm....I shouldn't have used "persuasion". ;)

Note to self: STSF simmers will take wording and run like heck with it.

I am Kansas Jones. I am female, and I play a female Caitian on Hood. ;)

EDIT: thanks again for info regarding joining a second sim y'all.

Yeah, especially people like me. ;)

Seriously, a couple nights ago on the Qob our HoD (That's Klingon for Captain) asked me for a time estimate on something. In character I said "It's about 9:53 PM Pacific Standard Time."
