Guess Who's Coming to Dinner

Daise’Enarrain Khevio tr’Shaleon

CO | RES Storm Falcon, 4th Battalion of the 6th fleet

SD 0501.04

>Begin<

The 4th Battalion of the 6th Fleet Arrived at Camelot Station, a few hours after the Excal. Khevio sat perched in his command chair reading over the new orders that had been given to him by Galae Command, harru the Senate.

He read them aloud. “You and your fleet are to be stationed rhae Camelot Station as a Garrison. Ambassador N’Kedre will continue to be lead Ambassador, however, au are being restored as military commander rhae au fleet.”

Khevio sighed to himself. “Operations,” he said. “Prepare to dock with Camelot, signal the rest of the group to proceed to status Red-3.”

The three trailing warbirds decloaked near the station, and assumed a defensive position, as the Storm Falcon decloaked and headed towards the station. The Norexens that had joined them maintain their stealth, taking up position high in orbit of Avalon.

At that moment N’Kedre stepped onto the oira, “Daise’Enarrain,” she said as she approached the command chair. “I take it aur pleased with au new command?”

“I would be happier if the entire station were ours,” he said flatly. “However, ie, I am pleased to maintain my status as battalion commander.”

N’Kedre lifted her eyebrows, “I should think so.”

“As for au,” he said. “It must be an honor for au to return to active duty, for the empire.”

“Ie,” she said, knowing full well what that comment was supposed to mean. “It will please au to know that I will be living on Camelot, na aur warbird.”

Khevio feigned ignorance. “That is most unfortunate,” he said, “it is always a privilege to have such an honored member of the nneikha.”

“Au flattery will get au everywhere,” N’Kedre smirked.

“How do au think I got where I am?”

N’Kedre only smirked. “My servants will see to it that my luggage is brought aboard Camelot, I thank au for au hospitality and understanding, considering the circumstances.”

“Of course Ambassador.”

“May the Elements smile upon you, and may you khlinae a nneikha.”

>End<

"Hired goons?"

Arg, it's an old line from the Simpsons that has no real significance but what you said in the last post triggered the flashback so I thought I would just write about it.
