Hi Mom and Dad!

 

Sorry I haven't written home. I can only guess how many harvests I have missed out on on the farm! I do miss you. I have been so busy.

 

I dont know how to describe life on the  Manticore to you, I can say we have visited many worlds including XXXXXXX. and XXXXXX and also XXXXX. We haven't exaclty been tugging other space vessels. In orbit of XXXXXX we had to investigate a large XXXXXXX of the late XXXXXX XXXXXXX XXXXXXXX. It was quite spooky.  I had to use some of that improvisation  you taught me Dad!..I rigged a weapon to communicator to contact the Manticore..when all our power failed with our comm equipment. I didn't know it at the time but the Manticore was XXXXX XXXXXXXX and could not respond anyways.

 

On our last journey we kinda had a bit of a bumpy landing...but I am fine..We have an excellent staff on Manticore..Our shuttle was XXX XX XXXXXXX XXXX but our fine chief landed the bird on the deck. We were  later relieved by the XXXXXXX and we've been at Starbase XXX at  layover. I got some reading done while on break..and got to see a few friends from the academy as well! I didn't think I'd see XXXX XXX at Starbase XXX but XXX was their! Remember when XXX visited Bolarus and got sick eating that Flan cusine you baked Mom. Oh well XXXX just wanted to pass on a Hi...He's on the XXXXX as an Engineer.

 

Well we just recieved orders to XXXXXXX XXXXXXXX and we will be seeing some sort of XXXXXXXXXX. I hope all goes well, and it will I have great faith in my friends I have made onboard Manticore. I love you  both,
