I was just wondering as I was contacted by STSF and they posted my to the Excal. as a AMO If any 1 had a good site they could post that would give me a list of medical supplies and medicines so I may know what to admiester to patients in the future.

Thanks all

I always find that watching lots of any Star Trek episode, and reading

the Star Trek books help.

And when I can't remember any of the medical jargon :P ....

I just make something up. :D

Anyway, good luck, and don't worry, you will learn as you go.

If in doubt, ask you're CMO.... if you can find them B)

:D ::Looks around to see if Brass is looking, then sneaks away quietly:: :P

Making up stuff works :P

Nothing like curing some brain disease or ridding your crew of an infectious organism with your trusty alphawaveguide clockinator.

Can't really help you. Medical is a position I know I am not good at. In fact when I attend an Academy I usually tell the GM "Anything but medical".

Hey there,

Actually, there was an outstanding medical database someone had created from another simming organization. Printed it was like fifty-five pages and contained information on everything medical, from medicine to drug control schedules.

Sadly, it's no longer at it's former URL and I haven't been able to locate a current copy. Perhaps I'll see about transferring the copy I have onto a PC and recreating it.

HA! I say the same thing.

Anyway, yeah, all the above is good stuff to do. See you aboard the Excalibur!

Hey, welcome to medical... as for your question I have this neat little rpg book for st that has a list of meds and what they do... but like the others said (no, not the hrm I have no clue how to answer your post, but I'm trying to build up the number of posts to my name, so let me make a stupid comment, hey that was fun...), making them up does work, as long as you can give an idea of what the medicine does in your log... that's when it gets fun :P ...
