[sTSF_Jorlis] Ok, folks, there are a couple of things to keep in mind with this sim...

[sTSF_Jorlis] For one thing, we need to pay attention to the actions in the sim, whether they're the actions of our crewmates or, particularly, the ACTION's posted by the GM's...

[sTSF_Jorlis] There was no message transmitted by the "UFO"... there were two actions indicating this.

[sTSF_Jorlis] We also had a bunch of conflicts with the UFO's speed, the number of lifesigns, the number of planets in the system. It lead to a lot of confusion and clearing up about what was what.

[sTSF_Jorlis] The second thing is... what we as players know and what our characters know aren't always the same thing... As an ACTION happens, anyone who should be aware of that ACTION should report it to everyone else.

here were many points in this sim where I, as the CO, had no idea what was going on, because the ACTION's weren't being reported. Any questions?

[sTSF_Jami] I'm wondering if an example of that last bit could be given, Jorlis?

[sTSF_Jorlis] ACTION's being reported? Right at the end, I had no idea we were approaching the system... although many people were indicating what the consequences of approaching the system would be. Anyone paying attention to our course or the UFO's course should have reported our approach... then everyone else could comment on it. But ACTION's simply indicate what's happening in the sim, T'Lara... they don't indicate that all of the characters know what's happening. Procedure still has to be followed. An ACTION isn't just a message being broadcast over the ship's speakers... just an event taking place.
