Isn't there a Star Trek MMORPG coming out in 2007?

If it is, I would definitely buy it if it was worth playing. My family may never see me again. :P

 

Usually, I don't like the online versions of games very much. I've played Starcraft and Diablo, but I prefer to play them either by myself or within a LAN consisting of my friends. Plus, I don't really want to spend the money on a monthly subscription.

 

I did venture into a few months of The Sims Online, which is nothing compared to those other games, but it was nonetheless obsessive. You could play for 8 hours at a time and not realize how much time had went by. I actually had to stop completely because I was scared that if I didn't, no one in real life would ever see me again and my cats would gnaw my ankles off from hunger ^_^

 

I did play a online multiplayer game that a student of mine suggested. It's not exactly cutting edge with graphics, but hey, you can play it for free. It's called Runescape, and if you're into the whole quests and magic type of game, it can be pretty interesting.
