Hm, I think maybe 03 September, 1995. I believe that's when the proposal for the Reant was sent in, according to The Reant website. I think it officially launched in 07 October, 1995.

But the order is I believe,

1. RES Talon, 05 January 1995

2. USS Hood, 08 July 1995

3. USS Reant, 03 Sept. 1995 (launched: 07 Oct 1995)

Gee, these are getting tougher.

From the information available I can deduce 2 possible combinations, one of which has already been eliminated. That leaves:

Talon: 9501.05

Hood: 9507.08

Aegis: 9508.18

According to the dictates of the question, however, the dates are optional. All we had to do was get the order right.

Actually, I can add some additional (not previously listed) facts for the fact-keeping nerds. :P The IKC Qob-Lakota was the restructuring of the IKC wo' Degh (Empire) sim, which began on 9503.01. In keeping with the storyline, many of the crew of the Empire were reassigned to the Qob shortly before she was lost in space in 96. So, I suppose the Qob sim's beginning date could be listed as 9503.01 rather than, or in addition to 9611.01. How's that for complicating matters?

(No, I don't clean up my hard drive files... ever, lol).

::off to compile some history files::

Hey there,

In reality, to my knowledge, there were actually four sims celebrating their ten year anniversary...who started ten years ago using the same operational name they have now (::shakes his head at Huff:: Make it complicated why don't ya!). The list is as follows:

R.E.S. Talon: Thursday - January 5, 1995

U.S.S. Hood: Saturday - July 8, 1995

(Starbase) Aegis: Friday - August 18, 1995

U.S.S. Reaent: Saturday - October 7, 1995

Along those lines, closest one to the above was Dumbass. Putting into account the fact the Qob game itself was launched in 1995 wasn't part my my original thought process, so no dispair. :P

Question 8:

For a good portion of the sim's history, the U.S.S. Excalibur was commanded by two individuals...neither who presently serve as the game's GMs. Who were these two people? Remember, neither are GMs of the modern day incarnation.

Present Score:

Vanroy - 4

Makaveli - 1

Murray - 1

Cosmo Rex - 2

koolaidman - 2

Gromvik - 1

Seiben - 1

I am NA old...and therefore na likely to benefit :D

However, au are quite right R'Tor (of course a Rihannsu would know the correct response)...Captains Vixis and Virago were in command of the vessel..

On a side note..I have been to Ceta Alpha 694-293 5-B and seen the wreckage...

Always a pleasure to view a broken Llohann'na vessel :P

PS..I believe it is sinking... :P

Vixis and Korlak...Korvak? I dunno his SN is Gov Kovax or something :P Korlag...hmm.

Vixis and Virago is the same person :D

For a bonus point they weren't current-incarnation GMs, they were SFOL America Online hosts, who for a period had the Capt/Cdr prefixes and later changed to OGF.

Incorrect! Until the most recent update, Vixis had been listed on the GM list found on the About Us paste, but has been on an extended leave of absence. She was also in attendance at the initial rebel alliance meetings. I have a great photo of her and one finger typing too.

Hard is our Horta, and Hortas are hard.

Hard the hard Horta serves on the Hood.

Our Horta is handy, our Horta is happy.

Hard is a happy, handy, hard Horta.

Not to mention heroic and handsome, as Hortas go.

We're happy to have Hard the hard Horta help on the Hood.
