um, before you go to tonight's acad, you might want to check with the GMs first. Trust me on this one.

 

oh, and remember, its EST! alot of people have trouble figuring that stuff out.

Yes, we only mark the schedules as ET, so we don't get abused if we haven't changed between EDT and EST as soon as the times change.

 

As for tonight's Academy, it is officially cancelled (as are all sims through Sunday). If you want to stop by and see if Dac or myself are in the room tonight, please do. Depending on our evening schedules, we may be there and ready to sim!

I had my first sim yesterday, and it was fun!! I got to be Chief of Security on a Romulan ship and even had a Lieutenant Commander report to me. :o We fought the Klingons.

Literally...tr'Dark Helmet..au name translates as tr'Akhiy Eyiv (the tr' denotes Mr. t' denotes mrs. or ms. :o )

 

Don't let the Rihan (Romulan) scare you off. We only use it for fun, it's not required to know it so sim on the Talon, and we will always give you a translation if you need it. :D

Well my 2nd sim was this past Monday. I was the CMO, but sick bay was pretty boring. Our ship ran into a bunch of Klingon and Romulan ships playing "Battleship".

 

Oh, yeah, whenever LoAmi's name was mentioned we had to say "All hail LoAmi!"

All the advice I have to give is from my own

academy experience; Play as many positions as you can,

even though you may not know what to do in that particular

situation. It will help you know what position you are best at,

when you graduate the academy, and apply to an advanced sim.

 

 

If in doubt about what to do, ask your CO, or a GM.

Finally, follow GM's directions at all times, and keep busy, within

the position you are playing.
