Time to Drop Anchor

Ensign V’Ran

Officer’s Log

Star Date: 10411.19

Begin Log:

The leading edge of the storm is closing in on the station as I write this log. Before the storm has even reached the station, we are already feeling the affects of the magnetic field it is emitting. Several systems on the station are constantly shutting down and turning back on. This will hamper our ability to sustain the brunt of the storm; with constant failure of the station’s systems I do not believe that our chances for survival are very good. However we are trying to adapt the station from the continuous disruption of power. Chief Quark, Lt. Andrews, and I are currently in security observing the events on the station; however the power in security and on the deck is offline. But I do believe I can adapt an emergency power cell to the security console, with the help of Lt. Andrews, I believe I will be able to bring the short range external sensors online and minimal internal sensors. It is expected that enough of the sensors to be able to monitor the internals of the station and the ion storm.
