This is an interesting topic. I dont know what brought it up, but I like it! I guess I should read these boards more often, eh?

Being a truck driver, I have been to all states but Alaska and have driven some into Canada. Driving into Canada is easy. Coming back is IMPOSSIBLE. Well, for a trucker, it is. You wait and wait and wait just to get a number to get in line to wait again.

Its ironic that they look for nukes and illegal weapons when terrorists entered the planes with boxcutters. And if you bring mace to Canada, they confiscate it. I doubt a terrorist would get far at the councilate with an ounce of mace. But, then I guess thats the opinion that keeps me from getting voted into office. =0]

Not an embarrassing topic at all, Grom. I've been to all the states except Alaska, Idaho and Washington. Also lived in Italy, Turkey, Singapore, Norway, the UAE, and been to most places in between. Ah, well - such is the life of a Starfleet officer.

Here are the states mentioned in Howard Dean's "I Have a Scream" speech.

In other words, these are some of the states he DIDN'T make it to. ;)

Eech, I've tried twice to post my little map, and each time it's crashed, so I'm not going to do it again. However, it was an average little map with about 1/3 of the states red: East coast, west coast, a couple of points inbetween. Though I am doing quite well with a map of the Carribean, heh heh. Where's my red crayon...

I haven't been practically anywhere out west ... should look into doing that. I need to get out of the midwest!

Here's the world map, for good measure. I really want to visit Ireland, and maybe some of the Scandanavian countries ....

I've travelled to a few states and been all over Arizona, California, Nevada, and Pennsylvania. I also took a small trip to Mexico which was fun. :P

I only travel on business, except when it's for pleasure.

For me I mostly travel on business or "pseudo-business" - one of my volunteer groups has a meeting and that's where the meeting is.

This is the map of someone who's never been on a plane in her life. I'll be able to add the Carribean to this map come October. And at that point I'll either have to get on a plane or swim to the islands. :P

And quite a lot of that red involved college friends being crammed into a tiny Toyota Corolla and going on road trips.
