::15 minutes after waking up by S`AAR::

 

Clearly the S`AARs were aware of what we were doing. This has become another frustrating

example of their ability to know...everything. The crew did everything they could

to dupe the S`AARs trying to use their abundant generousity against them this time.

The enemy prevailed.

 

Precip looked at the Phaser Rifle next to him. The one that the Admiral used to

kill a S`AAR yet failed to kill Commander Roget with. Precip had inspected the Rifle,

Everything was in order. The Counselor..should of...had her head blasted apart given

the selected setting on the Rifle. Yet nothing happened, as if the Rifle was in

a holodeck in safe mode nothing happened to the Counselor. Had the S`AARs read

A9's mind and temporarily set the rifle to training mode? No. Precip had checked

and rechecked everything with the suspect Rifle. It should of done it's job.

 

As should of the Nanites. The Bolian lacked the medical expertise to explain their

failiure. The Doctors, Engineers and Scientists would have to come up with an explanation.

Mitar suspected that the Nanites were thwarted the same way as the Phaser Rifle

was...rendered harmless somehow.

 

Just like the Crewmen who reportedly jumped of a cliff and were unharmed.

 

Just like Ens Krasner's fist after striking a tree in anger...uninjured.

 

It was as if the whole world they were on were a holodeck. Reality had clearly been

suspended.
