I looked at the native woman that a security accidentally shot, she was singing, quite happily I will add. It is strange though, I found my self here on an alien planet and the surrouding blue soil really gives me the creeps, but the natives really gave me a fright of a time. But when I thought about it, it is really peaceful here, minus the grenade explosion, the woman being shot, and these really weird looking fruit things.

 

But I guess I shouldn't take prejudice to an alien planet because it looks weird and very eventful. The woman that was sitting beside me, the native woman, really was unafraid. Strange, after all we look and dress pecuiliar to them, we also have strange tents and equipment set up around, but she is unafraid. Perhaps there was a strange bond between sentient beings?

 

I don't know but its been quite busy around here, fruit sample to be scanned and perhaps served. Note to self, don't try roots. All in all very exciting. I'm glad I was assignment here, the Chief is really nice too unlike those instructors at the academy ... or Piano teacher that is ...

 

I better go and catalog these samples, I write to my self later.
