Be sure to check out some of the non-lloann'na (Federation) games here at STSF like the RES Talon and IKC QoB/Lakota, I believe that STSF BluRox runs a Rihannsu Retor (Academy) on every other Monday. We won't bite...well the Kling'hannsu might (but that is a matting ritual for the Fvai )

Attend the academies, and stop by and watch some of the advanced sims that are running. We have a wide variety, ranging from the Proud Rihannsu of the RES Talon, to the fvai that serve on the Qob (Klingon sim), as well as assorted Federation ships and stations.
