Star Trek: Enterprise Season 4

102 posts in this topic

The season premieres tonight on UPN. This is very exciting. They have been taken to a very important period in our past. An alien influence on World War II is about to make the Germans win the war. If this happens Humanity may never have left the Solar System. Storm Front Part I is tonight at 8:00 PM on UPN.

The episode hasn't aired on the Left Coast yet so I don't know what is in store for us, but the Nazis were developing jet engines, rockets, and radar faster than the US was. It is entirely possible that we would have gotten to space faster if Germany had won the war.

Of course the Enterprise would probably look like a Volkswagen with warp nacells if this was the case. ;)

I read that Brent Spiner was going to make some guest appearances in Enterprise this season. I kind of want to know how that will fit in, but I'm afraid to ask. Ugh.

He plays an ancestor of Dr. Soong.

Paramount is also in negotiations with William Shatner to make an appearance.

Now that one should be good. I would love to see alot of any of the old crew.

I thought it was kinda funny how Doohan and Nimoy got guest episodes in TNG and Takei had one in VOY and and now they FINALLY think of Shatner. ;)

It seems that they we're waiting for Hollywood's justification.... They gave him an emmy remember. :)

So what was the blue alien all about? Everything back to normal and the whole Xindi/Suliban thing finally over? I work too late to watch it and I'm too lazy to set it up to tape it. Fill me in!

::cackles:: No it would have been built most likely by Junckers...::cackles:: The NX-1 Juncker

I don't know, I see him on the TV all the time and he still looks good, just older. He can always be someones dad or something like that. ;)

The Episode was fantastic. They are finally getting rid of the Temporal Cold war.

The only that is confusing me is how does Silik fit into the whole thing. And why didn't he kill Trip, he had the chance but instead he saved his life. You know what the Nazi's did to the Jews, they might just do that to Trip and Travis to get them to talk about Archer. But it won't work, because they still think he's dead.

Well, I just saw it, and I think it was pretty good. It was definitely a step up from the writing that went on for most of Season Three, Manny Coto is good writer and I'm glad he's joined the Trek family.

I don't think it was particularly astounding, but it was enjoyable to watch. Finally they brought back the Suliban, who need to be dealt with if we ever want to get on with the show. ;)

Silik should have set that weapon to kill the first time and killed Trip before launching the shuttlepod.

I also felt pretty sorry for Porthos . . . not only was his best friend presumed dead, but he had to spend all that time in sickbay. Those bright lights alone are enough! Then Phlox threatened to sing . . .

Overall, it was a good episode and it's a good beginning to the season. Hopefully if most of the episodes that follow continue to be like this, Enterprise will be back on track. At the very least, the episode has restored a small amount of my faith in the show.

I am going to watch the episode again to try and understand the whole silik thingy. I don't understand the "Storm Front Part II" the spoiler says that Silik helps Archer. Why would Archer accept Siliks Help? It makes no sense. Those two literally hate eachother.

But maybe they both hate the blue-skinned aliens more. Remember? "The enemy of my enemy is my friend . . ."

True, but still. I would think that after blue dude is dead those two are going to have their own fight.

I'm expecting it, and I can't wait. They off the blue guy, then they fight, and then Enterprise gets sent back to their own time period so that Tucker can have his beach vacation and will stop threatening to use the warp core for "experiments".

Jezze, I hate MLB and UPN so much now. (even more then before) I traveled through multiple states, to watch the season premire with my friends a couple states down. We turn the TV on at 7:55, and see an ad for a baseball game. A BASEBALL GAME! I was so disappointed, I just went to bed around 8:30. I got up early, and left to go back home. I get there, and, then they call and tell me it was delayed until Saturday. UNTIL SATURDAY!

I don't know why they complain about Kerry flip-flopping, 'cause UPN is a heck lot worse.

Please never mock UPN again.

Without UPN there would be no Star Trek.
