Begin Log:

As the ion storm closes its distance to the station, further protective measures have been taken to secure the civilians of the station and incoming ships, as well as the station itself. The station’s security department has run several diagnostics of the monitoring systems, as well as the identification programs to monitor the incoming civilians. I have also gone over the evacuation plans with Muon Quark, chief of security. In light of the emergency, I am confident that the station will survive. I am also confident in the performance of the crew. Another mission which will prove to be successful.
