Important Message to All STSF Simmers

There are a number of STSF players who have discovered and exploited a hitch in our Chat Room system that is allowing them to boot or "punt" other players from the rooms. This has been experienced by a growing number of players and GMs and it must stop immediately.

 

We are aware of 4-6 of the current users of this hack and they are on notice, as is everyone, that any non-GM that is found to be punting players from the chat rooms will be permanently banned from the Boards and rooms on this site, down to their computer's IP number.

 

At the same time, we have instituted a System Monitor in the rooms (you may see this name wandering through the rooms taking readings) and we will be tightening the system in the chat rooms to make this hack non-functional.

 

Finally, I would like to appeal to the players in STSF that this is a Community and they should treat it as such and not abuse our friendship and our shared commitment to having fun and simming.
