Shoreleave finally?

Personal log, Stardate 0409.22:

I'm walking to New Orleans. As the 20'th century song goes. I've had it with question's and deposition's. I'm ready to leave and settle into my shoreleave. Started out the day in the messhall with a slight hangover. I drank a bit much at the restaurant last night, my stomach could only handle some oatmeal and juice. I contacted Admiral Wolfe's office and asked his aid about mine and Angie's field promotion's. He said they were under consideration and Starfleet would contact us. I also asked when we could leave San Fransisco. He said as soon as our final deposition's were done, we were free to leave. I had sent out our final depo's last night so I told him we could be reached at N.O. sf hq. Angie walked in for breakfast looking terrible. She said she only regenerated for a couple of hours and didn't even try to sleep. I told her when we got to my apartment in New Orleans, she was going to sleep if I had to lovingly hit her in the head. I'm worried about her. She's having a hard time excuse the term, assimilating back into society. When she was in academy she could bury herself in her study's. And on the Qob she could bury herself in her duty's. But now, she has to confront her feelings, of love for me, her guilt about what she did in the collective and everthing else. I contacted my mother in N.O. and asked her to transport Angie and me to starfleet command there instead of catching a flight. She said yes and I told her we would be transporting over in an hour. Angie and I went back to our quarter's to pack and get ready for our long awaited shorleave. More later.
