Once again, I have failed to graduate. Oh, maybe it's not too late. I guess I'm not yet totally addicted to these simulations. Maybe I can still find a hobby?

Well no wonder!  All of Starfleet runs LCARS and no one wants to work with the only engineer who uses Linux.   ;)

LOL van roy! What about Science officers who use Linux? Unfortunetly I would fall under that category ;). Of course, I'm also a die hard Microsoft fan, so go figure that one out. (That is a Microsoft Tablet PC in my avatar, with the Reaent logo on it.) Sorry for the way off-topic post here...

Linuxxe,

Just keep trying.  The only way to graduate is for the SAME GMs to see you.  Get noticed.  :o  Stay involved and focused.  Don't just go off and do things that take away from the main plot.

(Now that does not mean ya can't do anything if ya are not the focus of attention, lol...  it just means if you are a medical officer and you don't have anything to do...  don't decide it's time for random crew physicals and try to drag the CO down there.)  :;):

And regarding Linux as an operating system...  I like it personally.  :o  STSF.net is powered by a Linux-based server and I have a machine sitting next to my leg powered by Linux Red Hat 8.0.

Hey there,

Well, be sure that the GMs know you're still looking to graduate! Sometimes when a GM hasn't seen you for awhile or has seen you in the Academy for awhile, they think you've already graduated. When your PMing for your post, just point out "Also, just FYI, please toss my name on the list of those seeking promotion." ;)

My suggestion would be to NOT use a black font on a black message boards.

Are you using a white font in the white chat room? Maybe you aren't graduating because they don't see you.

Well...don't worry. I've been a cadet in this forum for like 3 months and I have yet to graduate!

Hey, don't knock Mountain Dew.  It has more caffeine than espresso, coffee, and even Jolt Cola.  It tastes like crap...  well, I'm GUESSING it tastes like crap because I don't really know what crap tastes like...  but I wouldn't have made it through college without it.
