Juhdia looked at the device, even for a lay person in demolitions like Juhdia was, he could tell this was a weapon of destruction. But right now that did not matter, what mattered was disarming it.

The device continued to beep.

Juhdia breathed deep and looked at the PADD containing the Romulans data on the device. He muttered in deep silence, “Okay, now what?”

Juhdia cut a circuit wire. “Alright Captain Sorehl, if you could get me three portable shield emitters. Mr Chen, when I say the word toss me a Laser Torch.” Juhdia cut another wire.

The device began beeping faster.

“That cannot be good.”
