Joey Series Premiere

Anyone going to watch the new series?

^where's puss in boots? :D

okay, back to where we were, NO! I have a life. :) Okay, I think I'll see the first episode or so, so that way I have some material for the next day, and hey, you can't judge a sinking show by how lousy it looks. Oh wait, you can. ;)

So, to sum up the above things that I can't even figure out, 42.

I'll watch it.

After a few episode I'll continue to watch it if it is good.

I'll probably watch a few episodes and decide if it is good enough to watch permanently. Joey always one one my favourite characters, so I'll give it a chance.. just look at Fraiser. :D

It's not really fair to call it the replacement. I might watch it tonight. I'll see what else is going on. If its good, which I heard it is, I'll watch it.

Opinions? I thought it was pretty good...I actually felt there weren't enough characters, but I'm used to Friends with at least 6 main characters rather than 1 with a couple 'sidekicks'.

I'm reserving judgement, but it seemed okay. They need to bring Mathew Perry in for a cameo. Maybe in the season finale :D

Television? Who has time for television when there are things to do, places to go, and people to see!

I thought it was pretty good. Espcially the opening scene, lol. But as Vex saud, it'll take awhile for me to get used to Joey with out Ross, chandler and the others, so we'll see how I like it a few episodes later.

Most of people in the Western world.

Vex, after seeing that, I'm on your side. There is no god :D

What scared me was that it was decent. But, I think that one of the reasons that it intreseted me was to see what goes on behind the sceens of Hollywood. Oh, and the genious nephew. Building rockets at the age of 20, heck, if people were actually like that in real life, we'd have warp engines in no time.

Didn't watch it. I was never a Friends fan. More of a Sienfield guy myself.

Zaphod,

"Mulva?"

There was only one episode of Friends that was truly memorable. That was the one where Phoebie was singing to those kids about "grown-up" things. Oh, man, that was hysterical! :D :) Especially when she told Chris Isaac he sings like a girl! ;)

I hope they aren't doing with "Joey" what they did with "Kramer". Everyone knew that when Seinfeld went off the air that character would have a spinoff. There was just too much potential. But it was there because of *Kramer*, and the *variety* of situations he could get into, not the situations themselves. So what does NBC do? They stick him with Newman, never a popular character, and have them be private investigators. Same setup every week, no variety. The show didn't last a season. If they had just let Kramer be Kramer it could have been a hit.

Never heard of that spinoff.

I love Seinfeld though!

Never heard of that spinoff.

That's my point! It bombed instantly.

odd though. I rarely watched any of those three shows, but I still snicker whenever someone uses "yadda yadda yadda" improperly. I mean, come on, we all know yadda yadda yadda means, well, yadda yadda yadda. :D
