Personal Log Stardate 50302.15

“Dissection”

 

Garnoopy sat at his desk in sickbay, finishing up reports.

 

There had been 23 deaths in the latest incident. All by this strange alien species. All of the dead crewmembers had had their noses cleaned out, and four of them had been dissected in a not so pretty way.

 

Each of the four dissected crewmembers had been done differently.

 

The first had been used for bone testing. Many bones had been broken, some of them pressure had just been applied until they snapped. The skull was cracked, and a portion removed. Several bones were missing from the body. The second had apparently been used for the study of muscle, portions removed, and other areas exposed. The third had apparently been used for brain and spinal column testing, portions removed from different sections. And the fourth had been used for the testing of drugs on the body. Blood vessels had burst from the chemicals burning through them.

 

Tapping the computer, Garnoopy continued to make his notes in the medical logs, including many more detailed ones than this.

 

The nose’s had been cleaned out on all the dead crewmembers. Nothing was left in there. As to why this was done it is unknown. Klingon snot could have a medical use to these aliens, though no known disease had been plaguing them that was on records. It also could be some form of energy, though the amount of work required to convert it would far outweigh the benefits.

 

Garnoopy made full notes in each of the dead crewmembers logs, and then closed the files.

 

Leaning back in his chair, he tapped a panel. “Computer, open Dr. Garnoopy Personal Log, begin recording.”

 

A computer beep echoed, and he began his recording.

 

“Another interesting day I must say. We beamed aboard the dead crewmembers that had been murdered by the aliens. I’ve been mainly inspecting them and making notes in records and such. These aliens apparently were not kind, for the bodies of the aliens are not pretty at all. It is rare that I ever see something quite like this.“

 

“The rest of the crew is fine, including the children I am pleased to say. A few required some medicine for shock, but that was easily supplied.”

 

“I reported to the RawI’ my findings on the dead crewmembers and my report. She, along with the HoD was interested to hear about the cleaned out noses on the dead crewmembers. Standing on eh bridge, I unfortunately had the thought of aliens wanting the mighty Klingons for their snot for some sort of fuel, and a let out a little smile, which I had to quickly suppress due to a look from the HoD and Rawi’.”

 

“Since reporting my findings, I’ve been in sickbay finishing up medical records and examining the bodies.”

 

“Computer, end recording”

 

The computer beeped, and Garnoopy went back to his work on studying the dissection methods of the aliens.
