Meh, I'm interested in it. I'm fed up with Hotmail and equally disdain Yahoo. Google's always been a good search engine . . . they're expanding so fast though.

I've had it for about a month now and quite enjoy it. Still haven't used even 1% of my storage space :D Haven't had such a good time with the contacts list, but like you said, it's still in beta. Anyway... Long live the gig of storage!

Oh yeah, I definately think I'll get it.. Hotmail and Yahoo are quite the pain in the arse, and that Gig of storage really sweetens the deal. :D

Meh, a gigabyte is a gigabyte is a gigabyte. The only downside to having 2 MB of storage on Hotmail is that when someone sends you a picture, your storage percentage suddenly increases. So I think that the 250 MB Hotmail is bring out will be nice, but I don't really save my e-mails. I've got a folder for each sim, and if I want to save an e-mail, I save it to my hardrive.

 

What I really want is a preview function. Hotmail messes up my formatting, so instead of e-mailling it to myself to make sure it looks right, I want to see it as it will be seen when received.

I just don't like part of the idea. Just the reading of the e-mails though, mind you. The storage and all sounds great, I just don't like the idea of them going through my e-mail and putting up ads according to what I mention in the e-mail.

I don't pretend to be an expert on this, but I believe that it's just a bot that scans the text for key words, then adds some advertising to it. I don't think human eyes ever see it, and I don't think the bot keeps records on what it scans. And if you're really paranoid, well then the message is still on their severs regardless so if a hacker or someone with similar skills was interested they could look it up anyway ^.^

As if Hotmail doesn't monitor your e-mail. Microsoft is definitely more evil than Google.

i am one of the people who has an isp who has a pretty reliable email service.. ive never gotten spam an (hopefully) never mmssed anything important

Nevemrind...I have been informed by legal counsul that we the Rihannsu invented g-mail long befor au lloann'na scum had it, now we have an even more surpior version of aur '-e-mail-' we call it R-Mail. :D
