okay here's the scene, you travel millions of miles into outer space where no-one has gone before on a humanitarian mission....and you get killed by a tidal wave! a tidal wave, i was like, what?!!! so it got me interested, what is the weirdest death that's occured so far in stsf or in all of star trek for that matter?

I think the wierdest death was on the TNG episode "Half a Life". Where the guy is gonna kill himself because at the age of 60 his people choose to die.

speaking of rowdie comrades, i was warning people about A CERTAIN NAMELESS individual freaking out the other day and nobody listened! in the end everyone thought I was the loony, i felt like screaming "i didn't do it!" before leaping off a dam, instead i realised that in time they would know THE HORROR so i sat in the corner and ate cookies which i think is a much better course of action.
