Klingon High Archy or Birds of Prey?

Starfleet Officer's Personal Log SD: 0408.18

I have collected my quarters into cargo to be boarded in shuttle bay. Without judging, I do not agree with this manor of behavior at all. Without the crew taking offense, it is rather barbaric, illogical. Furthermore, I do not know what lies ahead for myself...or the rest of the crew. The actions taken by the klingon councilmen leave uncertainty as to their relations with us: fellow or captor? IT DOES NOT MAKE SENSE. Yes, there is frustration, much. Borg, or any race for that matter, do not take to being treated as animals. (No offense to Daryus) On a more personal note, it has occurred to me that if post-ruling of the empire, we were to board their vessel regeneration would not be possible for I assume there are no borg serving them. For this reason, I have packed all transportable and necessary coponents of the regenerator, I shall leave nothing intact....thinking that fellow officers will follow in the same manor.

My behavioral pattern is to be expected. I have been aboard three years, separate from the collective. As normal, I do experience and display my more human attributes, but after such period of time it is rather difficult not to think as I do. More importantly, I will always be borg and I will always be human. When taking on new behavior, one doesn't just vanish, it merely subsides from the other. It is expected with exposure to other cultures and behaviors as well, that one does adapt to such actions. It, however, is not always truthfull. These are not complaints, only concerns.

I do not approve of being cloaked between another Klingon vessel and an class M planet. Apparently, as that was the case, tension was optimal on the Meh. Daryus, Lt. Random, Messner, Myself...I purposely locked the controls to the science console. In the event of Chancellor inspecting my station, I feared he would use the ship's computer to his advantage. If any "problems" arose, I were to confirm to him that our systems were functioning normally while, without his notice, tapping a specific button on the console to override my command.

As a borg, you trust no one. Trust is earned and learned in a specific manor over time, not handed out at your feet on a silver platter with bloodwine as a supplemental beverage. (No offense to fellow Klingon crew) I am merely speaking in reference to our "guests." However, it is applicable to all cultures as well.

All systems were nonaccessable, except for Main Engineering. With main decks pending ship wide inspection, officers insulted, commands overriden, crew shoved aside as if they were meaningless prey, and their honor....meaninglessly put under recognition while they endured the heated glare screaming out "Why should I" from the councilmen.

Our guests behaved rather odd. I will clarify. What knowledge I do obtain and recall reguarding Klingon high archy is, At a moment's notice or latter, they obtain authority under Klingon law inspection of any and all vessels under both suspiscion or penalty to sieze all passing vessels. They must consult the captain prior to accessing ship's systems and vital records which are classified starfleet information. Their ruling has no exception without inclusion of prior confrontation with the captain. Klingon high archy can, I understand the matter, evacuate a vessel and it's crew under penalty. My opinions are like nanoprobes, not everyone has one. Those that do not posess these technological modifications go about their opinions in various approaches. The matter displaying positive attributes.

Moreover, on the display of odd behavior from our guests. Science failed to undergo inspection, I am greatful, yet uncertain as to why this occurred. Evidently, their requests were fulfilled at the crew's expense. Referring back to our time travel, as we re entered Klingon space, our territory as well as other klingons, our sensors indicated an onscreen view of the M class planet Qu'nos and its sister planet also M class not too far from our location. It was at this time we encountered the Klingon vessel, cloaked I believe. No activity was detected in this region of space for quite some time and assessing our crew seemed logical as their first action. Accessing our database was one thing, however, our duty rosters and vital records were of no use to them......or were they??

Rather convenient for a vessel baring the Klingon mark to be sustained in mid orbit around an M class planet its contents nearby, the Klingon Empire. Hmmm?? Obvious for the fellow vessel to be cloaked in viewscreen range, weapons locked, communications and main systems online at the percise moment our vessel was hailed. Is it not??

Name, rank, and status of every starfleet officer aboard obtained as quickly as a harsh blow from a batlef could injury a warrior/officer. Boarding our vessel, accessing our systems to make the only alternative, to serve you as we are as defensless as a bird of prey without shields, clinched tightly in fists of furry. Uncertain of our demise or duty. Questioning ourselves, is this truely our home or will we take on the manor and composition of space dust in an alternate parrallel universe?? Truely, are these who stand before you honorable leaders or are they merely birds of prey challenging their honor, as a means to overthrow or structural integrity, take away our honor, and leave us to stand before them while they partake in the amusement of laughing in our faces?? That lies uncertain...........for us............the crew of the IKC Qob/Lakota....to find out.

(The above content, was not meant to anyone, but rather compiled only of thoughts and concerns maintaining positivity.)

Personally, I accepted Daryus' invitation and took his concern for myself and other members of the crew to heart. I also reminded him, he was not obligated to follow through with his sincere offer particularly in our circumstances. However, I knew the meaning behind his acquiring my presence and thought it to be very kind of him.
