A deep space academy sounds interesting. Lot's of nice plot twist's and intrique the GM's could throw in. I've totally enjoyed the Klingon and Rommie acadamy's I've taken part in. I think the deep space academy could give the cadet's an idea of what it would be like if they decided to join the space station sim Ageis after graduation. I know the Klingon academy's I attended helped prepair me for the Qob.

Zaphod,

"You will be assimilated, meow."

Hey, I just had an idea.

We all know that there is more to Starfleet than ships and stations, right? Well, someone has to stay at Starfleet Command to coordinate the efforts of those ships and stations. People like the buyers, accountants, secretaries, and other administrative types.

How about an Academy sim where everyone has desk jobs? :)

You forget that I work with engineers in real life as well. The only thing wearing a Trek uniform to work would do is start a company-wide debate on whether the TOS Movie uniforms are cooler than the TNG Movie / late DS9 ones.

They are the most functional, I'll give you that. They have pockets.

Well Me Being a Newbie, and haveing dial-up, I Wouldn't be able to partisipate in most of the advanced sims. If we have a Acadamy advanced sim, than more officers that arn't realy able to sim on a regular basis would have postings. Unless we are talking about somthing completly different. well thats enough from me. Newbie Out

How would having Dial up keep you from being in an advanced sim?

And Vanroy, I missed that crack from you before, but I am an excelent CSCI. Im the only scientist in STSF that can blow up the ship on a whim...which I almost just did a week or two ago.
