Chief Medical Officer's Personal Log

=/\=/\=/\=/\=/\=/\=/\=/\=/\=/\=/\=/\=/\=/\=/\=/\=/\=/\=

I walked out of sickbay with a hypo in my hand and headed to my quarters where I could finally get some sleep. I entered my quarters and sat down on the couch.

“Computer, open Chief Medical Officer’s Personal Log.” I said.

And to hear the same normal voice, “Opening Log.”.

“These past few weeks…days I have been feeling sort of at half power in my “shields” and I thought it was stress and other factors… then there was this blinding headache that corresponded with this lower output of my ‘shield’. So I was completely thrown of an hour ago… It seems there was an alien trying to communicate with us. Muon could hear ‘whispers’ because frengi can pick up a lot of things. It also seems that Lt. Jg. Raumuk could also hear these ‘whispers’. It affected the rest of the station and its systems. All the telepaths where drown to the Docking Bay an hour ago. I feel really tired and not up to my full strength… I sent Hawke and Ayers to bed and gave them medicine to help them sleep and to regain strength. For once they barely put up a fight. Thank goodness its really irritating when the captain and commander try and pull the “I’m not going to sit around and do nothing” speech. And on a happier note I received a communiqué from the admiral that Pavilion was to be promoted. So I asked her to stay after and told her how it was very bad to drug they’re superiors and how she needed to be disciplined. So I handed her, her pip. I’m always the one for dramatics… so my staff seems to be complete. I have a very good assistant named Victor whose a full Lt. and then another staff member under him who is Lt. Pavilion and then another staff member, Ensign Dionysius. Very capable staff, and I’m proud of them.”

“Computer, end log.” I said. And the computer responded “Log ended.”.

It seems I now have to go to bed and get a full sleep because I ordered the captain and commander to bed…be kind of hypocritical to not in turn myself go to bed. And so I gave my self the medicine I gave Hawke and Ayers. And then everything went black….
