The torpedo rocked the ship and every decks within the Sovereign Class vessel, a good long moment later Zack found himself sitting on the floor leaning on the TL door gazing at the floor. What had happened? He wondered, one moment he was waiting for the TL to go to the bridge, the next he was on the floor. Was the ship hit? Or was it an illusion created by his mind to slap some sense into himself?

"hm..... Interesting .... suspicious." He said out loud and got up. He rubbed his face again to fully awaken to this nightmare, but was it an illusion like his mind described? Or was it real?

"Was that real or did just faint?" He asked himself and observed his surroundings; The ship was at redalert, obviously with the klaxons and lights going off. Was the ship hit a minute ago? He looked around, no sparks, fumes or explosions. Either a minor hit or it never penitrated the shields. Oh goody, we're still alive. he thought, still waiting for the TL to show up.

Now who hit us? Rocks or energy? He began to speculate on what did happen out there, for being on the isolated corridors of Deck 10, he had no idea of what did happen. He didn't know if this was real, an illusion or a dream. If this was real, then that means he was still alive some where, perhaps trapped. If this was an Illusion then he could be either alive or dead, isolated somewhere. If this was a dream, then he never graduated from academy.

All sorts of ideas shot through his head, he waited and waited. If this was real then who fired, who was the enemy, what kind of weapons did they use, was the station intact, were the people alive ...

He stopped thinking at that point, about to sink into guilt and acceptance of loss, and pressed the button the TL again, waiting for it to come down to take him up to the bridge, where everything will be uncovered.

He waited .... and waited ...
