Battle Drill: Part 1

A torpedo rocked excalibur. "What the hell?"

 

A young ensign standing at the tactical station behind Chris shouted. "Sir, the station has just fired a shot off our port bow."

 

"Crap," Chris thought. They were no where near ready for this. All the senior officers over on the Camelot station leaving the Excalibur with mostly junior officers. Chris looked around the bridge at mostly fresh faced ensigns. It was up to him to take command of the situation and run with the ball, "Ensign bring up red alert and raise shields."

 

Chris started giving out orders quicker than his brain could register. Was he ready for this? It looked like he had been given an incredible oppoutunity and he decided to make the best of it. "Okay everyone lets show them what we could do."
