(Our English teacher this semester used to let us all chip in for a plate of fries for the class once and a while.)

One plate of fries? For the whole class? And your teacher wouldn't spring for the $1.95 or whatever?

 

Heck, my accounting teacher brought in a big batch of home-made cookies one day for no other reason than our case example that day was a cookie company.

Actually, one plate was quite enough, it was from our school cafeteria. The entire plate cost $4.00, but it was always heaped with fries.
