And 1-3 have 'content'? I enjoyed the movies for what they were...but they weren't as mind-boggling as 4-6. Honestly, I dont think you can get better than Star Wars (in the Star Wars saga). No sequel (a prequel is still a sequel) can ever match the original. It just doesnt have the same impact.

But Lucas is like any capitalist...he's out to make money. Make movies 7-9 I say, if he has ideas for it. He'll make money. I'll see it in the theater. It'll add to the genre. Do I expect it to surpass SW 4-6 or even go down in great movie history? Nope...but the movies will be worth 6 bucks to watch.

6 bucks? Man, where are you living? Out here you're lucky if you can get away with an $8 matinee with no snacks!

I'll agree that sequels are not as good as the originals, but only to an extent. I liked Matrix: Reloaded, Terminator 2, Rambo, The Wrath of Kahn, Aliens, The Spy who Shagged Me, Clear and Present Danger, pretty much every Bond movie, and Empire and Jedi better than the originals. However, one thing these sequels have in common is bigger budgets to work with than the originals.

Everything we've seen in these prequels actually supports almost a mirror of how Hitler came to power.

Woah woah woah, what logic is there in that?

Well Dumbass Star Trek movies are OF COURSE an exception!!!

And T2 also rocked. But T3 was lame, it was T2 with a woman :P Lame political correctness...T4 will have the bad guy a chinese lesbian terminator. Who's fighting for custody of her little terminator baby.

It'll be a Lifetime movie of the week.

Well we'll have to wait for Governor Schwarzenegger to leave office for that one.

Why do we have to wait? Arnold is in that movie "Around the World in 80 Days"....wasnt he governor when that movie was filmed?

8 Bucks, your being gouged Vanroy. I just saw a movie for 2 bucks in Souix Falls. (Albeit an older one, not on video, but not on the main stream...that...inbetween period)

I still stand by my belief that they should have done a sequal trilogy, instead of a prequal...but thats me. Read some of the books, theres a great story out there.

And as for the subtitle revenge of the sith...well, thats what happens when you give six movies subtitles. Only two A New Hope, and The Empire Strikes Back were appropriate.

Return of the Jedi...the name partically gives away teh ending.

The Phantom Menace... What, is this an opera with lightsabers?

Atack of the Clones... For that to make sense, the clones would have to be atacking teh good guys...::headache::

Unless I am very much mistaken, I believe that the movie titles are *all* supposed to be bad and/or cheesy. The Star Wars series is an homage of sorts to the Saturday matinee, B-movie-type, rot-yer-brains serials and whatnot. Lucas wanted to tap into that weird, nostalgic vibe thing. So when they come up with a bad name for one of their movies, it is done so *on purpose* and therefore makes the title fitting :P

Least that's my logic.

I dunno.. I have a feeling the Arnie might not hjave a big a role in this one than his previous three Terminator movies... it might be about Connor's rise to power. But.. hey.. I'm not even sure about that. :P

His part was filmed before the campaign, and he said that would be his last movie for a while, he wanted to focus on being the "Governator" :P

Ok, I like Star Wars and writer's are creative. BUT they could have left it as it's original title.

nor can you just start making up strange clone plotlines (i mean, dude just cos the stormtroopers all look alike doesn't make 'em clones!

While I agree SW I and II have both been stinkers, I seem to recall mention of the clone wars back in the late seventies early eighties...maybe in a book series or something...anywho...the CLone plot has been around awhile..its a shame in 20 years Lucas couldnt come up with something better than Manakin Skywalker, and Jar Jar Binks...

The Clone Wars were mentioned in IV, and there was a comic in the Marvel serise about Obi Wan in the Clone Wars.

As for saving III, I say they should toss in clips of Walker Texas Ranger every once and a while. That'll keep people alert and interested.
