A Treatise on Simming

Well, for kicks I decided to do a Google for simming, and lookie what I found on the first page. I don't think I've ever met the person who wrote this, but I've heard a few things about Joy (good, I assure you) and I thought this little "paper" was an interesting read. Something to think about at least :P

Yeah, I enjoyed reading that essay. My favourite is probably problem-solving when it comes to Academies, because I enjoy dying once and awhile. It relieves the death-less purgatory of Advanced simming. As long as I don't get skewered by a light sabre . . .

And the parody examples were funny. :P

Ah....Joy. There's a name I hadn't heard in...lol, oh yea, about two weeks, when we found some old pictures. Joy used to be a member of the USS Republic, and was a very interesting android to be sure! I know several of us have met Joy a few times at certain cons, years ago, and perhaps, one day, Joy will come home to us.

Kind of hard when I'm a particle that travels backward in time.

Joy was an avid simmer in SFOL as I recall...she had quite a few android characters. It was a long time ago, I don't claim to remember it well.

This article was also featured in an issue of CommLink, the old (now gone) newsletter of SFOL. Hmm...I used to have it on my HD until the Computer Gods deleted all my personal stuff. Shame.
