The Manticore was patrolling in the Veridian system, on

the edge of the explored portion of the Alpha Quadrant, but

received mysterious Priority One orders into deep space. As the

ship approached the coordinates, a call back to Consul General HQ

told us that the orders must have been faked, as they were not

issued from Command. As we tried to alter course, a warning

alerted the Bridge that course correction would result in the

destruction of the ship.
