"Paranoia"

Tovek knew what was happening, the romulans ... The romulans! His thoughts echoed as he slumped back in the chair in his quarters. The Romulans!

The answer was clear, there was no Andorian involvement at all! The message was sent to the high command but why weren't they responding? Could the Romulan agents Corrupted the bases of Vulcan politics? Or was there a Romulan within the Vulcan military itself?

He sat up and stood. The Andorians are planning to attack earth soon, he knew, it wasn't logic but a gut feeling, with that many ships blockading the system their intentions are never been more clear. But why? Why mutter over the destruction of one Ship?

The High Command had the answers but they never bothered to respond at all to his latest transmissions. He sat back down, hopelessness over took him, his control wavered and failed. He had failed, diplomatic relations are terminated. The only contact with Andoria now are their system full of ships. Waiting to attack.

Illogical. He thought. A military engagement here is illogical, they must pull back while they still can.
