Trek: The Musical???

I was listening to The O'Franken Factor on Air America Radio, and on one of the commercials, they started playing Star Trek music, and the guy on the ad was mentioning that he was going to talk about Star Trek the Musical. Did anyone catch the name of the show. I missed the name of it. Well, just wanted to tell everyone.

No idea. But hey my school plays trek music from all the movies and show opening/endings mostly every day. it makes you pretty warm inside when you hear it.

Nope, can't say that I've heard of it either. Sounds interesting though.

Hadn't heard the radio show. But, there was Star Trek, The Musical on Boadway back in the 80's that bombed very badly (closed after like 5 shows). Next to Carrie The Musical, one of the worst to ever hit New York. I'm sure you can find the music for ir somewhere on the net. I've heard two songs from it and they were very funny.

Zaphod,

"You will be assimilated, meow."

If done as a parody, it could be quite good.

There'd have to be a love song for Kirk about all the aliens he's loved and lost. There would have to be a "he's dead, Jim," and "Highly illogical" mix... It could be four or five short sketches, one for each series... I suppose Picard's song would be "Let's talk it over." There would be evil alien dance numbers, complete with flashing lights and dramatic sound effects...

I like it, lol.

They'd also have a Picard remix of "Make it So."

And what would be a musical without some Klingon Opera? A sunlit battlefield, discount corpses on the stage, and maybe a dead lighting technician or two.
