The Council

A TRANSLATION

The high council was assembled to discuss the situation.

"What are we going to do?" Tilak asked.

"We must take action!" Another Klingon shouted "We must take revenge!"

"Revenge?" Yet another Klingon called out.

"Yes revenge, they've killed two of our bravest warriors"

"Bravest warriors? That (No word is remotely rude enough in English) Magek killed my brother for getting a rightfully deserved promotion! He deserved to die"

"That was never proved!"

"Oh and it was never proved that he also raped and murdered Imag's family was it? Come on, we all know what scum he was. This "what's said on the council stays on the council" attitude is preposterous!"

"Please gentleman" The Chancellor said softly bringing the chamber into silence. "We must not bicker amongst ourselves. What Magek and Imag intended to do, their past histories notwithstanding, was honourable. However they failed. It is my judgement that their deaths should not be honoured or damned. This incident should simply never be acknowledged as occuring. We will deny any involvement with this action and claim that, to our knowledge, Imag and Magek died hunting Targ. We will not allow ourselves to battle the humans till we are ready. I promise that one day those who want revenge will get it, but not yet."

"You have a silver tongue, pleasing both sides your honour" Tilak said "but what if Magek and Imag lived? What then?"

"No Klingon would dare allow themselves to be captured" the chancellor said solemnly.

Meanwhile far away on a planet called Earth, a klingon that was tied to a biobed wished he had tear ducts so he could cry.

While He tried to cry, the Vulcan interrigator started playing the lute ... badly.

no names to protect the dignity of both.

::snickers loudly in the background though he has not been born yet in this timeline::
