Destroyer Sustainment Group SV/1 has completed it's relocation to 034 x 044 x 322. I remind you to contemplate their deployment. They have been moved into position so that they may reach the Sol star group within three hours at their maximum speed. Originally this move was hoped to be covert, however Fleet Captain Yoro has reported a Vulcan vessel may have detected them.

 

There have been some developments on the intelligence front. Interesting ones.

 

As you are already aware, some type of engagement took place aboard one of the Terran military installations in orbit of their home planet. We believe this to be the same place where the new Challenger vessel is being constructed. When first hearing of this, I am certain you are holding the thoughts as I my old friend. With the suspected Romulan Star Empire involvement in the destruction of the Vulcan heavy cruiser, it would seem proper to state they had also attacked the Terran base. Yet, that is not the case. In fact, the government of the pink skins are stating that an assault team of two Klingons were involved.

 

This is a curious and potentially dangerous development. While we do not yet know if our pointy eared friends have put the pieces together yet, we are now beginning to suspect the Romulan Star Empire and Klingon Empire may have somehow moved into an alliance with one another. I do not have to tell you how this changes things. Should this pan out, our priority may no longer be the Terran military buildup. We may need to handle a larger threat, one that would probably eliminate the pink skin problem for us.

 

Per your request, we have completed the tactical analysis you requested. The results will be transmitted. Summary shows that should a frontal attack against the Terrans be required, possibility of success remains high. However, I will remind you of Battle of Tzec. Be mindful this is something the Vulcan High Command will not have forgotten and despite the Tjan....

 

None of our analysis have put into account further Romulan or Klingon involvement. Their presence may not be a factor, as there is little evidence to suggest the Vulcans have actually figured out the connection. Along similar lines, we continue to see clear evidence of the Terran government being used as a puppet by our pointy eared friends.

 

I will remind you, Andoria does not necessarily need another enemy...though one as weak as the Terrans can barely classify. I agree with your analysis that a future relationship with them could potentially be beneficial, similar to our standing with the Alpha Centuri. This is the only reason the Prime Minister engaged in diplomatic talks with the pink skins.

 

However, we cannot allow the Vulcan High Command to corrupt these Terrans and use that potential against us. It cannot be tolerated.

 

Do what you find appropriate. Authorization for deployment of Class 0ST weapon systems has already been granted. Class AZZ weapon systems is still not authorized, though per your request this may change within the next day. A meeting with the Prime Minister will take place tomorrow, where it may be nothing more than another formality.
