Eli ran a full analysis on the Vincent, the Miranda class vessel docked for repairs, the analysis did not show much damage however there were still a few spots to be covered. Eli turned his neck and noticed the crack that came with it. It wasn't surprising, he and his engineering team had been working on this ship for ... he couldn't remember. The time seems to fly when repairs were going so swiftly. He looked around while hearing cracks whenever he turned his neck, he noted the repairs on that faulty external sensor has been fixed now relaying data.

"Ok every one, retire and let the beta repair shift finish this." Zhu called to the engineers via comm. He exited engineering with a full report on the progress of the repairs and proceeded to the docking port. He crossed over to the Aegis and scretched. It wasn't helping his body for the fact that the jefferies tube were so small. He was still a bit stiff can couldn't laugh. He walked towards a TL and entered it.

"Main Engineering." Said a groaning Zhu. The Lift begun its decent. seconds later it opened to the deck and he stepped off the TL. He stepped in to Main engineering, it was quiet. He walked to the storage locker and placed his kit in it for his next shift. Then he proceeded straight to his quarters. Once he stepped through his quarter's doors he heard something.

At first it sounded like music, as he walked closer to the window he was in error it was just a parkled ship entering warp. He shook his head and rubbed his face, he could not explain it, it sounded music. Something familiar, from his childhood. He sat down on his couch, which is cleared of his dress uniform, and tapped on his personal computer. He accessed his personal data base. He looked through the titles of all his favourite songs but none jumped out. He sighed and laid back.

There it was again! He looked up and saw another starship jump to warp. He sighed and slumped back but he still had full view of his window. There, he waited and waited and waited. But the music never came again.

"Have I losted it already?" He asked the room but it came no answer. Perhaps he was lonely or home sick. But how did the feeling manifest it self into a familiar tune? He didn't what he heard or what origin it was from. He was sure he must find it. It seemed to be a part of his soul now and he must protect it. From being forgotten.

He continued to stare at the window. Waited ... and waited ... and waited ..
