The female stafleet officer lay on the floor knocked out. She had been most troublesome. Magek would teach her a lesson.

 

He crouched down and pulled out his D'k tahg knife. Then pressed the switch to release the side blades. He then held the knife to her throat... and cut a small x. If she survived the coming explosion, which was highly unlikely in Magek's opinion, the mark would be a constant reminder of her dishonour. Magek could think of no worse punishment. He laughed a gutteral laugh and tucking away the D'k tahg in his belt, continued on his mission.
