It was night on Vulcan when he finally dared venture out. The meeting was set. He would meet with a Vulcan informant and give him the bombshell footage of the destruction of the T’Kel with the streaking image of the Andorian shuttle in the background.

tr’Anik wore a long hooded cloak. The gentle brush of the training cloth against the street echoed eerily up and down the streets of the Vulcan capitol city.

Up ahead in the shadowy moonlight tr’Anik could make out who he was to meet with. Carefully he approached the figure in front of him, one hand on his disruptor and the other on the datatape.

“Greetings, It’s a rainy evening.”

That was the signal. “Really I thought it was rather clear,” tr’Anik completed the rest of it.

“I suppose you won’t tell me what’s on this before you give it to me?”

“Na, only that au will find it quite useful.”

“Can you tell me how you came into possession of this, my superiors will need to know.”

“Of course, it was acquired during a routine border search, of an independent freighter. We felt that it would be most—useful—for you,” tr’Anik stretched the truth.

That was what he had been told, after all, but he had been around long enough to know otherwise. It was most likely the freighter was owned by the Tal’Shiar under an independent organization and placed in a strategic position.

The Vulcan took the datatape and looked it over. “I trust it is authentic?”

“Do au na trust in my sincerity?”

“Very well. The Vulcan government thanks you.”

tr’Anik nodded ever so slightly then disappeared into the night.
