In battle a klingon changes. Every sight, every sound, every movement slows to a crawl. A matter of seconds in combat, to a klingon, can seem like a lifetime. Magek felt the change the moment the cargoship door opened. A kind of disruptor-time kicked in, the screams of the people gathered muted to a soft hum and he could take in every thing in sight and pick his target.

 

To his direct right stood Imag.

 

ALLY

 

Across the room to the far right was a console, manned by a starfleet officer.

 

ENEMY: IMAG'S TARGET

 

To the far left of the room was a pile of barrels, probably containing dangerous fuel being carried by technicians.

 

SAVE FOR FUTURE REFERENCE: FIND IMMINENT TARGET

 

Straight ahead near the doorway stood a Starfleet Officer staring in shock. He carried a folder with the symbols "TRAVIS" written across it. Whatever that meant, it did not matter, he was near the alarm and was an imminent danger.

 

TARGET ACQUIRED

 

Magek raised his disruptor rifle, aimed at the man's chest and fired.
