Tovan walked to his quarters, this time the way it was last left, every thing was where they were suppose to be. Tovan Lid a candle and turned off the light. The away mission did not go as expected, the team is recalled, communications mysteriously disappear, and Sovak was unconscious in sick bay. After all the explanation to fill the admiral in, Tovan was still confused on the technical side of the story.

 

Tovan took out a padd and began his report.

Subject: Away mission

 

 

 

The journey into the Chasma is uneventful, minor changes and adjustments were made to the suits to adapt to the harsh environment. No Errors were found.

 

During our time in the cave, Sovak suit reported no anomalies until the energy burst harmed him. Two Oxygen filters were fried, however the damage was not fatal.

 

On our way back to the surface, communications cannot be established to the ship nor to Commander precip, a signal reflection field was present however it could not account for the signal reflection. No comments or speculations.

 

Towards half way up the Chasma, communications still could not be established with the ship however once commander precip was present, communications with him was stable. Again, no comments or speculations on how this was possible.

 

After Sovak and the rest of the team was the surface and proceeded to the shuttle, communications still could not be established with the ship. The shuttle could not establish contact with Manticore also. Speculation suggest it was Sovak who is emitting the reflective field. However this was possible is unknown.

 

After shuttle arrived aboard Manticore, Decontamination process was successful, no harmful contaminants was found in the Away team or the shuttle.

 

Shuttle has gone into full maintaince. Reason for communications blackout is still unknown.

Tovan placed the padd on his desk and walked to the candle light and sat down. The strange things will be solved. He thought and began his meditation.
